University Studio Shoots
My studio portrait work explores a more controlled approach to image-making, focusing on light, form, and composition to create clean and timeless portraits. Working within a studio environment allows greater attention to detail and provides opportunities to experiment with lighting, backdrop, and mood in ways that differ from location-based photography.
These sessions focus on creating refined, carefully considered images that highlight character, expression, and presence, while also allowing space for creative exploration through a more minimalist and stylised approach. Studio work continues to inform and expand my wider photographic practice.
